VLE Venkat Ramaiaha delivers essential items to the tribal community through Grameen eStore in Veldurthy Mandal of Guntur district, Andhra Pradesh. Veldurthy Mandal is a remote forest area with a lack of mobile and Internet penetration. The tribal community living there do not have access to even basic commodities for daily use. VLE Venkata has taken up the challenge to help people meet their basic requirements and now covers 15 villages through his Grameen eStore.

He says, “I am identifying retired Anganwadi teachers and enthusiastic volunteers who can help me deliver products door-to-door to the needy people. This will also help in the expansion of my work. When I started this work, had no idea that one day I will become so famous among the tribal community.”
